7. Subscription Information

Our app provides some advanced features that can only be unlocked and used by subscription. We hereby clearly inform users: the App contains an optional auto-renewal subscription service, and some features require a paid subscription before they can be used.

When you choose to subscribe to a service, we may collect the following subscription-related information:

• Your subscription plan type (such as free trial, monthly subscription, annual subscription, etc.)

• Subscription start and renewal time

• Current subscription status

• Anonymous transaction identification information provided by Apple (used to identify user subscription status)

The purposes of this information include:

• Verify and manage your access to subscription features

• Provide subscription technical support (such as restoring purchases, solving subscription problems)

• Send you relevant notifications when the subscription status changes

Please note:

• All subscription payments are processed through Apple's App Store in-app purchase system, and we do not directly access or store your payment account or credit card information.

• You can manage or cancel subscription services at any time in Apple ID settings.

• If you do not cancel your subscription during the free trial period, it will automatically become a paid subscription after expiration and your Apple account will be charged.

• For more information about your subscription status or to manage subscription services, please go to "Settings" > "Apple ID" > "Subscriptions" on your device system.

8. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Services and Third-Party Data Sharing

Our app integrates AI-powered features to enhance your user experience. Before using any AI feature for the first time, the app will request your explicit consent. You may choose to decline, in which case App features will not be available.

What Data Is Sent:

• When you actively choose to use an AI feature (such as scanning a wine label or analyzing a food image), only the image data you voluntarily upload is sent to third-party AI services for processing.

• No personal information (such as your name, email, phone number, Apple ID, or device identifiers) is sent to any third-party AI service.

• Only the content you explicitly submit for AI analysis is transmitted — we do not send any background data, usage history, or other personal information.

Who the Data Is Sent To:

• Your uploaded image data is processed through Replicate, Inc. (https://replicate.com), a third-party AI platform, which hosts and runs the following AI models on our behalf:

– OpenAI ChatGPT models (provided by OpenAI, Inc.)

– Google Gemini models (provided by Google LLC)

• These models are accessed exclusively through the Replicate platform. Your image data is sent to Replicate's servers, where the selected AI model processes it and returns the results to our app.

User Consent and Control:

• Before any data is sent to a third-party AI service, the app will present a clear consent prompt explaining what data will be shared and with whom. You must actively agree before any data is transmitted.

• You may withdraw your consent at any time through the app's settings. Once consent is withdrawn, no further data will be sent to third-party AI services.

• AI features are entirely optional. Declining to use them does not affect your access to any other functionality of the app.

• Each time you initiate an AI request (e.g., uploading an image for analysis), you are actively choosing to send that specific data for processing.

How Your Data Is Protected:

• All data transmitted to third-party AI services is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.

• Replicate, Inc. processes your data in accordance with its privacy policy (https://replicate.com/privacy), which provides protections consistent with or equivalent to our own privacy standards.

• OpenAI and Google, whose models are hosted on Replicate, maintain their own industry-leading data protection and security practices.

• We do NOT allow any third-party AI service provider to use your data for training AI models or for any purpose other than delivering the specific AI feature you requested.

AI Features and Purposes:

• Image Analysis: AI analyzes images you upload (such as wine labels, menus, or food images) to extract relevant wine information.

• Information Processing: AI processes wine-related data to generate descriptions, taste tags, food pairing suggestions, and recommendations.

• Content Generation: AI may generate tasting notes or descriptive content based on wine characteristics and your input.

AI-Generated Content:

• AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and may not always be accurate or complete.

• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before relying on it.

Data Retention:

• We do NOT save, store, or retain your uploaded images or AI input data for any purpose beyond the immediate processing of your request.

• Temporary processing data is automatically deleted after the AI service request is completed.

• We do NOT use your data for AI model training.

• We maintain operational logs for security and debugging purposes only; these logs do not include the content of your images or AI interactions.
